Event Description:
Nathaniel Hartman Log Home – Henry County Fairgrounds
Vice President of the HCHS and member of the Black Swamp Intertribal Foundation Taylor Moyer will dress in traditional regalia of the eastern woodland peoples while giving a talk on the villages that dotted the bank of the Maumee River from Defiance, Ohio through the city of Toledo. While exploring these American Indian sites Moyer will discuss arts and culture of the people who once lived on the banks of the Maumee River. Period American Indian artifacts and replicas will be on display during the event.
