Community Drumming Night with Glen Wright, Hosted by Soaring Arts Studio
This night, we will express ourselves through percussion! Drum, rattle and dance yourself free of that daily stress. You'll be welcomed in a fun-loving and judgement free environment! There is no experience/skill necessary. Everyone is welcome to come and have fun!
Q: Are you wondering what a drum circle is exactly?:
A: A drum circle is a community music-making event where participants play percussion instruments and improvise rhythms. Music is created through movement. In a drum circle, there is no audience. Everyone is a part of the performance. The rhythms are spontaneous. One person starts a beat or rhythm-others add to it!
Those who come are encouraged to bring drums or percussion instruments, such as maracas, tambourines, shakers, wood blocks, bells, shakers, or anything that can make noise! We will also have drums available on sight. We hope that you'll join us for a fun and unforgettable night!
This is free and open to all! (We do ask that children under 11 are accompanied by an adult.)
