Event Description:
June's Fireside Chat at the historic Nathaniel Hartman Log Home will feature Vice President of the HCHS Taylor Moyer will speak on the history of the Underground Railroad and highlight sites in Henry County that once housed runaway slaves. The talk will include background history on slavery in the U.S. and the great lengths slaves would go to escape the system of chattel slavery.

This is an HCHS fundraiser with limited seating: Admission will be taken on the front porch of the Nathaniel Hartman Log Home. Light snacks and drinks will be served.

$10.00 donation for non-members
$5.00 for HCHS members (must present membership card)
$2.00 for students
